See Arkansas First This Summer!

From some of the nation’s best caves and caverns to optimum mountain-biking trails, sweet retreats for couples to crystal-clear lakes and streams for fishing, canoeing or boating with your family and friends, there’s a wealth of things to see and do in The Natural State – usually just a tank of gas or less will get you where you’re going.

The Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism invites you to spend your vacation time here in Arkansas and experience all there is to see and do. Need some travel ideas? Be watching the highways and byways of The Natural State for the See Arkansas First rolling billboard – a 40 feet long, 13 feet tall recreational vehicle courtesy of River City RV – a roving Welcome Center stocked with vacation information and appearing at live radio remote broadcasts across the state from May through August.

Sunrise Honda has partnered with Parks and Tourism to give away a 2008 VTX1300T motorcycle dressed out for touring, and Lewis & Clark Outfitters will provide outdoor equipment including a tent, kayak, mountain bike and camping stove to several lucky winners.

Enter to win at any See Arkansas First radio remote broadcast or at Sunrise Honda in Searcy or Lewis and Clark Outfitters in Little Rock and Rogers.

Petit Jean Meats, Coca-Cola and The New Great Passion Play will provide refreshments at the remotes, and Parks and Tourism representatives will offer ideas for you and your loved ones to make this Arkansas summer a vacation one you’ll never forget.

Listen to radio stations across the state to hear when the AR-V will be making its way to your community with lots of ways to win. And check here often for the most up-to-date schedule, along with great vacation ideas!
